Interparcel 'Rain' TV Advert

Our December 2010 TV advert 'Rain' was filmed in Dulwich on the North Cross Road, on a cold November day.
The road had to be closed for many hours, so we owe a big thanks to the locals who tolerated us well!

Unfortunately the weather was unusually bright and sunny, so wind and rain machines had to be brought in to
create the effect of a miserable wet day.

The voice over is, of course, David Mitchell, star of Peep Show and Mitchell & Webb.

Behind The Scenes

In total around 16 hours of filming was recorded - which was later condensed into 30 seconds.

The unfortunate guy who got drenched is played by actor Ben Homewood.
Despite wearing a wetsuit under his clothing, Ben spent the best part of seven hours freezing cold and wet.

The other main character played by actor Justin McIlveen, had a more enjoyable job, nice and warm in a cozy apartment!
